Unit 3: The power of active listening in teachers-parents relationships with their students/children

Since its introduction, active listening has become a ubiquitous element of communication in training programs across a variety of fields, such as in school pedagogy. The aim of this unit is for the participants to develop their communication skills and contains two workshops with eight activities each.

 

Objectives:

Participants will be able to:

  • Understand body language

  • Practice emotional regulation

  • Identify/explain the basic principles of verbal active listening technique to become good listeners

  • Practice active listening techniques
