This unit aims to provide the reader with the knowledge and skills to understand basic principles of children’s rights that will later facilitate an understanding of children’s quality of life from a rights-based perspective.


Objectives of Unit 1: 

Participants will be able to:

  • Identify children’s rights.

  • Describe the link between quality of life and children’s rights.

  • Identify obstacles opposed by society on children experiencing a quality of life.
